Qualifications Required: –
A second-class Masters or Honours degree from a recognized university is mandatory if you want to apply for this recruitment process. The commission also requires the candidates to have a Bachelor of Education degree. A qualification the Paper 1 / Paper 2 of the TET exam will also make them eligible in place of the B.Ed. degree. Candidates with age starting from 21 to 32 years is considered as eligible for applying. The age will be calculated as on 1st January 2017 and The commission provides age relaxation to special categories as per government rules and norms. How to apply?
Candidates who are interested in the job profile and found themselves eligible for the same can visit the official website of the WBPSC at https://www.pscwbonline.gov.in/apps/home/. This website contains the option for the online application. They can fill the form online along with submitting the softcopy of their certificates. Once this process is completed, certain categories of candidates should do the online payment also. The general and OBC group of participants should pay Rs. 210 as the application fee. However, the SC/ST/Pwd/Ex-s category have no application fee. After completion of this application process along with the payment, download and keep a copy of the same. Following this process, the students can download the admit card from the official website, few days before the examination. This admit card is mandatory to be carried to the examination hall for entry purpose.
Selection Process: –
The participants of the recruitment process should undergo different levels of examination and the process starts with a written exam. It is then followed by a F2F interview. Those who have given the best performance in these two sections will be declared as selected. But the result will not be announced on the same day. Few days after the F2F interview, the commission publishes the list of candidates who are selected, on their official website. Those candidates will be provided with the pay scale as per the government norms.
